Child Mental Health Services in Shropshire

ARC: Attachment, Regulation and Communication

Many children and young people with trauma and attachment needs, alongside those with special educational needs and disabilities have gaps in learning and development that are difficult to meet. ARC Therapeutic Education offer a variety of interventions to meet these needs, such as play therapy, for children and young people who need extra attention and care. We provide child mental health services in Shropshire, to make certain that every child is met at their point of need. Through individual, one-to-one sessions or in a group setting, we see children grow and develop.

ARC Spaces

We offer two spaces for our services, depending on the service you need and in what capacity you need it. One is a play therapy space, in which the child will have the option to explore their emotions and experiences naturally through play, learning about themselves and their abilities to develop to their full potential. The other is a larger, group-focus space, where we can provide group workshops and training courses.

Why Choose ARC?

Inclusive

We understand that every child is different and unique, with their own way of seeing the world. We offer an inclusive service supporting and advising on the needs of children and young people with SEND, challenging behaviour, anxiety, low self-esteem and trauma and attachment difficulties.

We bring a creative, pragmatic and solution-focused approach, to meeting the needs of children and young people with additional needs. We'll creatively explore issues together to find new constructive approaches, set against a background of development and growth.
